When your vision is too big to be contained by just one venue, Pointe Orlando can host conventions, block parties, and buy-outs of the entire property. Currently, Pointe can accommodate up to a group of 8,500 using all of our venues during a property buyout.

Pointe Orlando is a dining and entertainment destination so while several of our venues are open for lunch, we come alive at night. This is something to consider when planning your group event.
If you want the property to be calmer and more relaxed, consider planning a lunch event during the week. If you are really looking for the energy and nightlife feel throughout the property, plan Thurs-Saturday after 7 or 8 PM!
Tips and Tricks to Hosting at The Pointe
If you have a very large group where you need to, or want to, use more than one venue, we would recommend hiring a DMC (Destination Management) or event planner to help you streamline the planning. Each venue will have its own contract and BEO (Beverage Event Order) that you will need to be completed with them.
Plus, each venue has entertainment options and menus that are unique! Hiring someone to handle the individual venue needs and contracts makes it easier for the client to sign one agreement and see the bigger picture.
Don’t forget to secure any necessary permits for your event! This will include alcohol extension permits. The venue you are working with can assist with this if you plan to use the common area as part of your event. They’ll also help you secure parking validations for your guests.
If you are doing a block-party-style event with several venues around a certain area, keep in mind that walkways cannot be blocked or closed as per the fire marshal. The workaround is, plan to distribute wristbands to your attendees.
